Welcome to our Website

Welcome to the Pytchley Village Web. In this site we aim to provide information for you, the villagers, to help you get the best out of your village and the facilities it has to offer. Please use the menu on the left to navigate to the main articles, and the two menus on the right for quick links to external sites of interest and latest news stories.

We now have a Facebook Page where you can see the latest posts & perhaps post your own thoughts. Just click on the link:

Or alternatively, hover on the Box Slider labelled 'facebook'  on the lefthand side of this screen (only works on some platforms)

In preparation for the submission of the Village Plan to KBC, we have now included the links to the Parish Plan Documents produced by the Parish Council. The village Plan will be based on the Document produced in 2003 and the update in 2012. Comments and findings from the recent Presentation in the Village Hall will be incorporated prior to submission.

UPDATE 27 April 2018

We have engaged an independent consultant to review the Jan 2018 Plan prior to submission to KBC. He has produced his report and, following discussions within the working group, has been updated and is posted here (May 2018 version)

Researching your Family History?  – if you intend visiting All Saints’ church or the village for family history reasons please let this web-site know the names you are interested in & the date & approximate time of your visit. All church registers are now deposited with the County Records Office at Wootton Hall Northampton but a booklet showing all graves and memorial inscriptions in the churchyards and in the church and other material on village families is available in the village. The church is not normally open but again someone can unlock it & show you around if we know you are coming
